Xcel Mens Axis 2mm Short John Wetsuit features 100% UltaStretch neoprene and a comfortable flatlock seam construction. The inner arm opening hems are sealed with SmoothSkin for a better seal against your skin, to further reduce cold-water flushing.

Although most commonly used by the surfing world we are finding the short-john style to be highly desirable canoeing, kayaking, SUPing, adventure racing and obstacle course racing – basically anything that involves strenuous arm activities.  We also have this as a Long-John (long pant style).

Japanese Limestone Neoprene is used in the Xcel Mens Axis 2mm Short John Wetsuit helps us (humankind) become less dependant on oil for the production of the rubber* component of your wetsuit. Aside from the environmental consideration, it is suggested that using limestone derived acetylene creates a smaller cell structure which in turn creates more warmth, stretch and takes on less water, so better in every regard.
