Rip Curl 2 Piece Traction Pad

Rip Curl’s 2 Piece Traction Pad is an easy way to add that necessary extra traction when you’re in the water. The textured finish and kicktail raise in the rear give you something secure to plant that back foot on where all the pressure is applied when you’re turning.

Made from a high-density EVA foam (otherwise known as expanded rubber or rubber foam), traction pads are soft but durable. Rip Curl’s pads feature a diamond groove patterning to optimise grip. The base flex groove at the tail pad helps it to mould to the shape of the board for more effective adhesion.

A 2-piece traction pad gives you some room to play with when it comes to how wide you want your tail pad to sit. A little extra separation on a slightly wider board gives you more grip area. With only 2 pieces, it’s relatively straight forward to line everything up.

• 25mm Kicktail: This stops your foot slipping back and means you can really sink your weight back into it.
• Easy Application: Clean your board’s tail, pick a spot, remove the adhesive cover and carefully apply (instructions included with product).
