Mystic Majestic 3/2mm Front Zip Steamer Wetsuit is still one of the Mystic team rider’s favourites. In case you like good looks plus a lot of flexibility, Knitflex+ lining is definitely your thing. This outer lining offers the highest all-directional stretch ratio combined with a luxury look and soft touch feeling. Also featuring an eco-friendly limestone neoprene that is considered one of the best neoprene’s in the market, Yamamoto 39. The high stretch ratio and top-notch insulation will let you perform better and be more comfortable than ever before.
It features a fox fleece lining on the chest and back that keeps your core warm and toasty. The suit has been constructed with Mystics renowned 100% M-flex 2.0 neoprene which is the most flexible neoprene in their range with amazing durability and flex properties. It also has glued and blind-stitched seams with junction taping on the inside.
This suit would be suitable for winter across most of Australia’s east coast – in QLD we would consider this to be on the warm side, but it’s an ideal thickness around Sydney. Further south and in Victoria, you might opt for a 4/3 (at least), but this all depends on personal preference.
To get the most out of your Mystic Majestic 3/2mm Front Zip Steamer Wetsuit we recommend washing it with the Australian made Wetsuit Wash and reading our Wetsuit Maintenance Guide.
Mystic Majestic 3/2mm Front Zip Steamer Wetsuit Features:
- Material: Yamamoto 39 high stretch ratio and top-notch insulation will let you perform better and be more comfortable than ever before
- Flaremesh+: keeping you warm at the critical parts of your body with the revolutionary Flaremesh lining Flaremesh+ channels water through the fabric to decrease drying time dramatically
- Variable thicknesses: The wetsuit is constructed using 2mm thickness in the high-stress areas (such as the armpit area) and thicker 3mm neoprene in exposed areas such as the large front and back panels
- Glued and Blind Stitched Seams [GBS]: A blind-stitch is used to avoid creating pin-holes in which water can enter the suit, this is done by using a hooked needle that penetrates around 40-60% of the material depth. The non-stitched portion is then sealed with an elastic glue that not only greatly improves durability but creates an additional level of seal. Read our blog on wetsuit seams.
- Chest Zip: Once you go front zip you’ll never go back! That’s because the chest zip fixes a fundamental flaw of the back zip, which is that it limits your ability to curve your back! Get the goss on zips.
