Our Cressi Free 3.5mm 2 piece Freediving suit Mens is a top-of-the-line freediving wetsuit designed by Multiple World Champion Freediver Guillaume Néry. The suit features a medium density neoprene that both reduces buoyancy and limits the effect of compression forces.  A wetsuit is filled with air-bubbles, these bubbles give the suit stretch and warmth but as you descend they become smaller, therefore reducing the efficacy of the wetsuit but you can get the full rundown on this over at our blog on neoprene.

The external lining of the suit, Cressi’s Glide Skin©, optimises hydrodynamics due to its ‘coated’ finish, that is so say it’s substantially smoother than the standard elastane wetsuit lining. Furthermore, the Glide Skin lining has greater stretch than elastane, therefore improving the overall feel and stretch of the suit, making it more comfortable and reducing work required to stay in streamline.

• 3.5mm Thickness: Cressi’s Ultrastretch neoprene has been laid through the entire suit at a thickness of 3.5mm
• 2 Piece: A two piece suit has the advantage of having an adjustable height setting, 1 piece suits can only grow as much as their zipper permits
• High-Waist Pants: High-waist pants assist in your breathe-up, unlike overall/long-john style pants that add restriction to your rib cage/torso
• Blind Stitching: A blind-stitch does not penetrate the rubber, this results in no pin-holes, therefore no water seepage. Furthermore, the seam is glued to increase durability and seal
• Medium density neoprene: Low buoyancy and high compression resistance.
• Glide Skin: This insanely smooth lining reduces hydrodynamic drag
• Velcro: A velcro beaver-tail is featured in this suit, as opposed to the plastic clip style we’ve seen on so many suits, this not only provides more versatility of fit but won’t press hard against your pubis when subject to serious compression
