Billabong Boys Absolute Lite Jacket is a great surfing jacket for groms with a back zip for easy donning and doffing. It provides great UV protection whilst still providing some extra warmth especially leading into winter when the wind chill becomes more aggressive but the water temperatures don’t demand a full-suit.
It has flatlock stitching for durability and Billabong’s eco SuperFlex 250 lightweight neoprene which is a stretchy, light and quick-drying nylon jersey laid through the high-stress panels. Stretching to 250% of its resting state and made from upcycled tyres.
To get the most out of your Billabong Boys Absolute Lite Jacket we recommend using our Wetsuit Wash and reading our maintenance guide.
Billabong Boys Absolute Lite Jacket Features:
- Flatlock Stitch: The most durable seam but creates pin-holes that allow water to enter the suit, for a warmer jacket we suggest considering a Glued and Blind Stitch [GBS] seam but you can learn more about seams on our blog.
- Superflex 250 Jersey: Stretchy, light and quick-drying nylon jersey laid through the high-stress panels. Stretching to 280% of its resting state and made from upcycled tyres.
- Back Zip: The original zip style is still the easiest to get in and out of! There’s a lot more to a zip than getting in and out so check out our info blog on wetsuit zippers.
- Long-Sleeve: Gives extensive coverage for effective thermal retention and protection from UV rays.
- Thickness: 1mm
